This fantastic morning scene looking east over the Arkansas River in Little Rock from the Big Dam Bridge was captured by my wife Karen one morning before we met. This painting was done from one of her many wonderful pictures.
****Member of The International Guild of Realism****Member of Arkansas League of Artists*** Member Portrait Society of America**** Like most I began drawing at an early age. Some of my earliest childhood memories are of time spent drawing people, places and things that interested a young boy. It was a great escape during times I was ill and confined to bed or the house as there was no internet and only 4 channels on tv to watch growing up in the '60s . There were no museums nearby, just a library and the only chance I had to see paintings were in books and the family bible which as I recall held magnificent works by Carl Heinrich Bloch. That stoked my interest in painting along with a coffee table book of Norman Rockwell illustrations....
